Guava - one of the trees with my favorite leaves in the studio
I always talk about the guava in my workshops at the studio, when I explain in depth about the worlds of color in the plant
Because there is no plant that stands out from her in everything related to the substances present in the plant's systems
In winter she gives dichotomous prints of black and white
Some of the time it gives us reddish brown results
And its real magic happens in the fall, when the fruit begins to ripen and each leaf is filled with colors of between yellow-green and dark green (mine looks like dark turquoise)
Sometimes one leaf has a perfect gradation of the three colors - and it's a spectacular sight for the eyes!
She came to us (like many good ones) from Central America, and how good it is that she is here!
You are invited to the daily workshops at Gorinka Studio, and to print the guava on silk scarves and linen tablecloths
