Wisteria

Wisteria - enchanting us with its sweet fragrance, painting the landscape with purple blooms, and providing abundant food for buzzing bees.


Originating from the mountains of China, about two centuries ago, Wisteria is a member of the pea family. It can grow to enormous dimensions, with slow growth until its roots deepen and reach their peak - then it begins to rampage and grow endlessly!


In the world of botanical printing, I love using both its beautiful flowers, which offer a range of yellow hues with hints of purple ink, and its flat-shaped leaves, with pleasant shades ranging from cheerful yellow to bright green.


Its blooming season is about to end this month - it's time to capture its beauty!
